About This Flotilla

Flotilla XVI Bareboat Edition

Autumn ’26: 25 October–1 November 2026 | Platania, Pelion to Keramoti, Kavala

A complete sailing experience designed for those who choose to travel differently.

From 25 October to 1 November 2026, the XVI Bareboat Flotilla connects Platania, Pelion with Keramoti, Kavala through a carefully planned one-way route across the Northern Sporades and the North Aegean.

Sailing with your own yacht and crew, you will journey from the green coastline of South Pelion to Skopelos and Alonnisos before continuing through Kyra Panagia towards the remote island of Agios Efstratios. From there, the route leads to Lemnos and Thassos before reaching the final harbour in Keramoti.

Each leg introduces a different side of the Greek seas: sheltered island passages, remote anchorages, traditional harbours and demanding open-water crossings. The planned route covers approximately 175–185 nautical miles, depending on the selected harbours, weather routing and final passage plan.

The flotilla combines the freedom of an independent bareboat charter with the organisation and support of an experienced lead team. Daily briefings cover the planned route, weather and sea conditions, harbours, anchorages and the essential information required to complete each passage safely.

At the end of each day, the crews come together in selected harbours and anchorages to share their experiences and enjoy the distinctive social atmosphere of an organised flotilla.

Your Own Yacht and Crew

Each group charters and operates its own sailing yacht or catamaran. You are not booking an individual cabin or sharing the yacht with guests you do not know.

Your skipper remains responsible for navigation, yacht handling, crew management and the safe operation of the vessel throughout the journey. At the same time, your crew benefits from common passage planning, daily briefings, local knowledge and the coordination of the flotilla's experienced lead team.

Who Is It For?

The XVI Bareboat Flotilla is designed for appropriately qualified skippers and organised crews seeking to combine the independence of a private yacht charter with the support, social experience and educational character of a professionally coordinated flotilla.

Because the route includes longer and exposed open-water passages, participating skippers must hold the required sailing qualifications and demonstrate sufficient recent experience. Qualifications and sailing experience may be reviewed before a booking is confirmed.

This is more than a week of sailing. It is a complete voyage shaped by freedom, knowledge, character and thoughtful organisation.

Experience Measured in Miles

This journey does more than connect remarkable destinations. Every passage enriches your sailing experience and adds meaningful nautical miles to your development as a sailor.

From the protected waters of the Northern Sporades to the open passages of the North Aegean, the route introduces skippers and crews to varied sailing environments, remote islands, unfamiliar harbours and the genuine demands of a one-way voyage.

Every nautical mile is an opportunity to refine seamanship, strengthen judgement and build greater confidence at sea. Upon completion of the flotilla, participants will receive a Certificate of Nautical Miles Sailed confirming their participation and the distance completed during the journey.

Sail Beyond the Ordinary

Some journeys are measured in nautical miles. The most meaningful ones are measured in moments, challenges overcome and memories shared.

The XVI Bareboat Flotilla is an invitation to leave the familiar behind, take the helm and experience Greece from a perspective reserved for those who choose the sea.

Eight days, one remarkable passage and a sailing story that will remain with you long after reaching the final harbour.

A curated seven-night sailing journey from Platania, Pelion to Keramoti, Kavala. Enjoy the independence of your own yacht and the support of an organised flotilla while following one of Greece's most distinctive sailing routes.
