You can join as a student aboard a dedicated training yacht, charter and operate your own bareboat yacht, or book a place aboard a participating yacht to enjoy the complete Flotilla experience.
Not for every participation option. Beginners can join a training yacht or select an experience package suitable for their level. A bareboat yacht must be operated by a suitably qualified and experienced skipper.
Yes. Selected training yachts offer structured practical sailing education under professional instruction. Eligible participants may also work towards an available sailing qualification, subject to the programme requirements and final assessment.
Each day begins with a briefing covering the planned route, weather conditions and important navigation information. The fleet then sails towards the planned destination, followed by free time or optional shared activities after arrival.
The fleet follows a coordinated route and remains in communication with the lead crew. Adjustments may be made when required by weather, safety or operational conditions.
The lead crew continuously monitors the weather and may adjust the route, departure time or destination to maintain the safety and comfort of the fleet.
The lead crew provides daily briefings, route coordination and navigation support throughout the journey. Technical problems or emergencies are handled according to the fleet’s safety procedures and the support available at each destination.
