Long-Term Bareboat Charter Agreement
Complete Hands-Off Investment
3-Year Contract
Designed for owners who view their yacht as an investment and seek a stable, contractually agreed annual return. NorthSailing offers a comprehensive charter management programme under a three-year bareboat charter agreement, in accordance with Greek maritime legislation. NorthSailing assumes full commercial and operational management of the yacht, while the owner retains ownership. Annual returns are agreed according to the yacht type, condition, agreed value and the terms of the agreement.

NorthSailing handles the yacht’s commercial promotion, booking management and communication with charter clients. In collaboration with the owner, we shape the pricing strategy, operating base and commercial positioning of the yacht, using selected platforms, charter agents, exhibitions and our established client network. The owner remains responsible for maintenance, technical support, check-in/check-out and the yacht’s day-to-day operation.
In addition to all Booking Management services, NorthSailing can handle document renewal and administration, summer maintenance, technical support, and check-in/check-out management. Winter maintenance, secure storage and winter berthing arrangements can also be added following inspection and agreement. The scope of services is tailored to the needs of each yacht.
Following a technical inspection and commercial assessment, NorthSailing assumes the yacht’s full commercial and operational management through a bareboat charter agreement. This includes commercial positioning, pricing strategy, bookings, client communication, document administration, check-in/check-out, maintenance and technical support, according to the terms of the agreement. The owner retains ownership without day-to-day management involvement.
The contractually agreed annual return is determined following an assessment of the yacht’s type, age, condition, equipment and commercial potential. Monohull sailing yachts may qualify for an annual return of 8–10%, while catamarans may qualify for 10–12%, calculated on the agreed yacht value and subject to the terms of the agreement.
Yes, depending on the yacht, contract terms and availability, you may upgrade from Booking Management to a more complete management program. The Booking Management & Maintenance Services program requires an annual contract, while the Long-Term Bareboat Charter Agreement requires a 3-year commitment.
