Route III: Volos - Lavrion (Bareboat)
About This Flotilla
The Bonus Miles Flotilla returns for its 15th edition and stays true to the values of NorthSailing, blending seamanship, learning, and exploration across the Greek seas. It creates a steady rhythm on the water, bringing crews together through daily briefings, practical guidance, and shared experiences that help everyone build confidence throughout the passage.
Route III covers roughly 200 nautical miles, sailing from Lavrion to Preveza. The journey passes through the Corinth Canal and along the western coast of Greece, exploring the Ionian islands such as Zakynthos, Kefalonia, Ithaca, and Lefkas. These islands offer a mix of lush landscapes, charming villages, and crystal-clear waters, giving the trip its distinctive Ionian character. These stops form the main route, though the exact itinerary may change depending on weather conditions. It is a varied and rewarding passage, combining open-sea sailing with sheltered bays and a clear sense of progression.
Bareboat participation is ideal for crews who want to handle their own yacht while sailing within the structure of the flotilla. You follow the daily plan, join the briefings, and enjoy the support of the lead team, but you manage your boat independently. It offers flexibility, responsibility, and the freedom to navigate each leg with your own crew while still being part of the wider journey.
