Completion of the First UCaptain Training Cycles for Skippers and Sail Instructors in Volos
UCaptain successfully completed its first two official training cycles for Skippers and Sail Instructors in Volos. The first session took place on December 4 and the second on December 6, 2025. These programs marked an important milestone for UCaptain, preparing experienced sailors for the next stage of their professional development: becoming instructors for new and beginner-level students.
Under the guidance of ISSA Master Instructor Jakub Elsahen, participants were introduced to ISSA’s teaching methodology, international standards, and the organization’s long-standing commitment to high-quality sailing education. ISSA, founded in 1969, remains one of the few global institutions that issue certifications in full compliance with the UN-ECE standards for ICC.

The next UCaptain instructor training will take place in Athens from January 8 to 11, 2026. More information will be announced soon.
